Dear friends of Project Heartmade,
Some of you have been following the project for 10-15 years, some less, but all of you have been part of the journey by buying the amazing olive oil from Tovo Faraldi made by Bebo (Alberto Togliatto).
Especially the past year - 2025 - many of you have asked questions about the project here in Tovo Faraldi. What are you actually doing down there? When can we come to visit? Can we come to see the Olive Groves etc. Many questions and I have been telling the story many time and most likely in different version depending on the situation and time available.
Since the project is becoming more and more relevant - not just for us - but for all of us, it's time to tell the story from when it started, from how it started and how we came to love this specific corner of Italy with all its flaws and all its gifts. It's a long story and I will not force anyone to read it all, but I very much feel like telling this story as it has been such an important part of our lives the past 10-20 years and we expect it to be for the rest of our lives. We basically want you to be part of it. In your own way. If being part of it means following along on this little blog, on instagram, buying olive oil or coming down to visit us. It's all great, we just want to share our story with you.
And excuse me for writing in English, but we have a fairly substantial group of people following along from Switzerland, Germany, Italy and the United States that absolutely do not speak Danish. And for the Swedish and Norwegian who pretend to understand Danish, I know you will appreciate to get this in English.
